From 10 to 12 June, the international design community gathered in Copenhagen for 3daysofdesign. The Danish Design Week, founded in 2013, is now one of Europe’s key industry events, that Dexelance could not miss. This year’s edition featured the participation of Davide Groppi, Meridiani and Saba.
As highlighted by Giorgio Gobbi, Managing Director of the Group, in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore, “Copenhagen is progressively emerging as a phenomenon. I believe that, after Milan, it is the most important event to attend in order to meet an international clientele, especially architects and designers.”
Davide Groppi illuminated “Artistic Position in Space”, a collective project presented by File Under Pop in collaboration with Agape, Agapecasa, Garde Hvalsøe and V-ZUG, that reinforces the designer’s deep connection with the art world. Among the lighting pieces on display, were VERA and UMASI, two new creations unveiled during Milan Design Week 2026.
Meridiani returned to 3daysofdesign this year within the spaces of official retailer RUE VERTE, presenting an installation dedicated to the latest products designed and redesigned by art director Andrea Parisio, including the René Bed and the Louis modular sofa. The project enhanced the brand’s materials and identity, in the spirit of “30 Years of ME.” The company has a strong presence in the Northern European market and in 2024 it opened Meridiani House in Copenhagen, an apartment showroom where Italian soul meets local style.
Saba took part in “Echoes of Space”, a collective installation curated by OpenHouse at member club The Conary. The third floor was transformed into a “Saba apartment”, shaped by a domestic narrative that makes design fluid, attuned to the rhythms of everyday life. In the main room, the standout piece was the new Up Grade sofa, originally designed by Giuseppe Viganò nearly twenty years ago and now revisited with a more contemporary aesthetic. Beside it, stood the iconic Teatro Magico table in the new havana shade. In the second room, the spotlight was on the new Oasi outdoor seating system by Robin Rizzini and the Voilà armchairs by Nicola Pavan.
